Title: weird short circuit problem on a DOD 250 Clone.
Post by: Wellu on September 03, 2014, 10:13:28 AM
Hello.

I tried to build an dod 250 clone, and all it gives out is a loud hum, it responds to a volume pot.
The circuit in question features ground for input and output.
My best guess is a short in somewhere on the pcb or i just don't understand the grounding very well.

Or a wiring error.  Or any number of problems.

Familiarize yourself with this sticky thread (http://www.madbeanpedals.com/forum/index.php?topic=902.0), specifically jkokura's suggestions.  Test continuity through your bypass switching.  Test your IC voltages.  And, please, post a link to the board and circuit you're working on.  Good luck!
