Title: Sweep Control - Phasers
Post by: ThePastRecedes on July 20, 2014, 08:24:05 PM
I'm just playing around with phaser circuits and I came across a moogerfrooger schematic. I listened to a few demos and I love the sweep function. I'm thinking of implementing it on another phaser but I'm not 100% on what it actual does to the LFO and how it works.

From the manual :
QuoteSWEEP: Moves the frequency response pattern through a six-octave range. Use the SWEEP panel control and/or the SWEEP pedal control jack.

Any ideas on what the transistor and opamp do here?

Sounds like modulation phaser style!

It sounds great! In the demos you can "select" the frequencies that are accented in the sweep.

That is a busy, busy circuit :) (with lots and lots of phase stages!)
