Here's a couple of my latest builds - a Grapevine and a Faultline. I really like the way the quilted maple turned out. The bird's eye isn't bad but the wood wasn't very figured, so it's kinda meh. Both are coated in clear gloss epoxy from HD to hide the lip created by the veneer. Plus, I like the wet look.

Very sweet! Well done, stunners! 8)
Nicely done! I've been thinking of doing wood veneer. Gorgeous! I bet the guts look great too?
Great looking pedals! The usual question with these veneer tops, what did you use for the border?
No border. I measured the length and width of the box's "flat surface" and reduced that measurement by about 1/8 of an inch and centered the veneer when I glued it to the box. The epoxy smooths out the lip created by the veneer.
Really nice builds!

Nice builds. I like the blue/white fade on the DLS. Nice touch.
