Title: How to convert 2kB pot to 1kB

Hey guys,
looks like the only thing I'm missing from finishing up a Cosmo build is a 1kB pot.  Can I strap a resistor across the pins of a 2kB to get what I need?  If so, and looking specifically at the Cosmo, how would I go about doing that?  Many thanks!

Put a 2k resistor across lugs 1 &3.  The taper will change a little, but it will work.

I suggest using a C1K if you have one.  I think it works better there.

Awesome. Thanks Pick. I should've been able to figure that one out. Unfortunately no C taper pots close to that value.
