Title: Homemade DeArmond electromechanical Tremolo

Hey guys.
i know im a noob but i found this so F"£$£$ing cool!
a totally analag tremolo....
and i was just getting happy that i could build some stuff...geeeez i was wrong!

Man, i challenge you to build one just like that, but hook it up to a steam machine, not electricity ;D

despite all the Rube Goldberg gymnastics, that thing sounds darn good, and has a great range of depth and speed

I think R.G. Keen has an article on the oil can tremolo, similar to what Bo Diddley used, but if this one uses Windex, that's even better.

that thing has a victorian stage magic-quality to it o_0

it hard to believe something like that saw general production at a factory

I just saw this video a few weeks ago and had my own fleeting thoughts of building one. I would need way more time than I have. That thing is too cool though!
