recorded live in the studio, while we were recording for our yet to be completed album ;D
Multiple cameras and multiple takes, all stitched together by our vocalist Paul, who is a film editor by trade.
enjoy:
Wish I could remember what I was using for dirt on bass.
you can even buy the tune here http://forcefieldsnz.bandcamp.com/track/zeroing (http://forcefieldsnz.bandcamp.com/track/zeroing) for $1, or get our previous album PWYW (pay what you want).

That was great. Like it.
thanks guys. My involvement was pretty much limited to playing bass and drinking beer. needless to say i'm extremely proud of the results :)
Yeah, it was pretty good! I like the song quite a bit.

I. Dig. It.
Sweet!

Really dig this, like that it's bass that it's taking part of most of the dirt job, keeps the guitar rythmic pattern in the face.
Is that a RE-20 on the vocals?

Not sure if Paul was using the Boss VE20 at that point, or an aquaboy I'd built for him...

Yep, we've been running delays on vocals pretty much since the band started - mic into either boss vocal processor, or the aquaboy ;D
I like that song. Very cool intro. I like the layered effect on the video too.
Very cool track. I will be looking forward to an album. The production is tight and I do love the effects you guys used on everything.
Cody
looks like an re-20 to me
Great stuff! I like the groove and how it breaks down with the melody over the chorus. The bass sounds FAT. Good job, mang. I wanna hear more... ;)
Thanks guys, more stuff here (our first album and some demos) for those that are innarested: http://forcefieldsnz.bandcamp.com/ (http://forcefieldsnz.bandcamp.com/)
new single and t-shirts coming soon too ;D
And i've managed to get quite a few Madbean pedals on to the guitarists boards - Matty has a Afterlife, Snarkdoodle and a Sunking, and Paul has a zombii, aquaboy, mudbunny, and kingslayer, as well as a hotcake clone on vero :)
Great song Jeremy. Love the groove, love the tones, solid bass playing!
Thanks for the kind words everyone :)

Yeah, that's an RE-20 alright.
Jeremy, the song sounds great and the video looks awesome! Great work all around.
Cool! EV RE-20 and Heil PR-30 are killer on vocals, we've been using those for a lot production, in lots of case it blows a SM7(not SM57) out of the water.
Awesome! Nice tune, nice tones, nice video. That was time well spent checking it out. Thanks for posting it!

I'd pick the SM7 over the RE-20 for vocals, personally - the RE-20 is great for people who love to get right up on the mic since it's got such low output, but I think the SM7 has more character.
I'd definitely put the RE-20 on a bass amp first, though. Or a low brass instrument!
(Sorry for the derail!)
Dude, that is excellent. :o
