Odale Vatos! How are my brothers in solder? I built a pedal ::)
Its suppose to be a box of rock. I got some really good advice on my last build report (especially regarding where I should put my power in relation to the LEDs in order to avoid crossing power and audio wires) that I wasn't able to apply to this build because I had already drilled and painted the enclosure. However, I do look forward to applying that helpful advice along with any and all that comes my way for my next build!
One of the problems I did run into with this build was that the boost LED was kind of going in and out for a bit. The effect worked fine, however, the switch was activating the LED almost like a momentary switch for a bit, only lighting up when the switch was depressed (not sad, but pushed down with my foot. HEYO!). Then after a couple stomps it would stay on. I resoldered the LED to the switch and it seems to be working fine now. I am also still getting a somewhat jolting classic "pop" when engaging the boost. I guess the pulldown resistor wasn't enough? I probably messed something up that I haven't figured out yet... Anyways, here are some pics.

Dude! Thank you so so much! And also thank you again for the tips. That stuff is crucial. I cant wait for my next build. I am really looking forward to drilling and wiring better each time.
Nice! I loved that show when I was a kid.
Great art work!

Killer paint job, but :o why does it look like your vero has the components on the track side?!?

I think its just the way the light hit the board in that picture. I bought that vero from a AV place in Burbank and the top side has white paint corresponding with the tracks on the other side

All kinds of win. Keep it up. That'd explain it. For me Vero is some of the best stuff to have around.
