Does anyone know of a good place to find bass and acoustic pre schematics? I would like to build some to replace my existing gear. Should be a simple project, but I don't know enough to freestyle it yet . :P

active or passive?

if you're thinking of passive, it actually one of the few low-parts count projects that's more expensive to build yourself than to buy.

does anyone that has made a Slambox think it would make a nice preamp in a DI? i would like to figure out a way to get it to run off phantom power, but that shouldn't be that hard.
