Hey guys.. looking around Mouser for a better price on resistors (been using Xicon) and found these...
KOA Speer
http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/KOA-Speer/MF1-4DCT52R1003F/?qs=sGAEpiMZZMu61qfTUdNhG%2fEkWIe81Doqh9FYW5y%2fjd8%3d
Not sure what to look for in the specs.. one thing I noticed was the Temperature Coefficient : 100 PPM/C vs 50 PPM/C on the Xicon
Any input or advice would be appreciated

Hey Allen,
Edit: your link is busted btw.
Edit again: Infact for a better explanation, read 'temperature co-efficient' on this page:

A good move if you ask me. Koa resistors are usually pretty good quality. Infact I'd say Xicon are good quality when you place one next to "the big T's" resistors which I continuely whinge about.
You don't need to worry about PPM (parts per million). That's more for high accuracy circuits and the drift speed of the resistors in X years to come...as far as my knowledge on the subject goes pretty sure that's correct. Just make sure they are the right power rating (0.25w) and most importantly, the right size! I've bought 0.25w resistors before that have been way oversized and thus wont fit your pcb. I'd also go for metal film if the option.
Hope that helps.
Paul
Thanks for the info.
