Some of you are ace at putting stuff in reduced space, but that has never been my case (although I'm improving a lot since I'm here), in the past I was even more excessive when choosing boxes... so I had this empty box from an old project that I didn't like with 3 knobs and a switch, and a DLS board in the workbench, that sounded huge. Big sound... big box!.
Sound wise, this project is everything you expected and more, ridiculous.

This had to happen sometime....... Nice quote dude! OP: that's a cool build, I do like the "Big Box, Big Tone" way of thinking!!

Nice job.
I'm pretty sure the quality of the sound is directly proportional to the size of the box regardless of the size of the board.
Aside from the big box mojo factor you get extra points for recycling what would otherwise be shelf filler.
