Title: Pastyface
Post by: jkokura on March 08, 2011, 05:24:31 AM
Well, I'm not sure about this one. I guess it's done, but it doesn't sound right yet, so I'm going to keep working on it.

This is a Pastyface, with a Road rage board built in for conversion from +9v to -9v. I used some free GE trannies from Forest over at Cap's n' Such - cool guy, worth doing business with. It's pretty fuzzy, like really, really fuzzy. Right now there's a volume drop with the volume maxed, and the tone knob isn't really what I expected, because it acts more like a bias knob, but the bias trimmer also seems not to work like the bias trimmer I was expecting. The fuzz goes from Really fuzzy to really, really fuzzy. More to come if I ever tweak this thing into a more useable beast. I don't like the volume drop, so I gotta fix that at least.

And the Guts.

Hope you've enjoyed.

Great color! Kinda like an early 1970s Hot Wheels.  ;)

I wish i could dip it in hot water and make it change colour. Now that would be a neat trick.
