Dave Rolo used these in his Twin Peaks (his tap tempo harmonic tremolo), and I finally got around to ordering some. The picture doesn't communicate how small they are. They're about the size of a normal 16mm pot!

I have plans for these. Mwa ha ha.
Thank you! I just bought a set to give em a good beaning.

I'd've given you a bunch, no way can I use 25 rotaries.
Keep me posted on those Jon. I'll look at ordering some as well. The real question I have is if it works in conjunction with the 16mm Right Angle PCB mount pots with no problems.

Thanks. I'll actually pass some of mine off to pickdopper and culturejam most likely, so no worries.
I am curious about these, too. I wish they were smooth shaft, but that's what a lathe is for. ;D
Must. Have. Eagle. Footprint. :o

Not to worry, I will make one once I have them on-hand.
Now we've found the switches for PD's 1590A Big Cheese :)
(Or is that his 1590A Lovetone Flange? The scary part is that I would not bet against him being able to do that...)
How rugged are they?

They seem fine. They don't have any wiggle or give in the rotary action, and they click pretty softly so I wouldn't see them getting abused too much.
Jacob: Would it help if I took a picture with a knob and next to a pot? They're taller (with the pins) than a pot, but they look about the same height as a 16mm board-mounted pot when it's offset slightly (which, I think, you have to do when there's any sort of switch, right?)
Thanks, nice find!
I came up with a great use for these -- as the division switch on a taptation! It can do four of the five settings with the right wiring (I drop the dotted 16ths). I'll have a build posted in the next few weeks using it. :)

Looking forward to seeing that Jon. Sounds very usable.
Anyone have an extra one of these around I could play with?

I got you, Jason. I'll send them tomorrow morning.
Realistically I'm not going to build enough projects to use the ones I have!
Great, thanks a bunch.
Hey Jon, if you don't mind i would certainly buy 1 or 2 from you, seems to be the holy grail of clipping options :)
Just PM me if it's all good for you.
Thanks
Rej
Anyone have 2 or 3 of these they would like to sell me?

I can send you a couple, Cody.
BTW, I just used one today where space was a real concern. If you bend the pins down -- or obviously board mount them -- they're exactly the same size as a 16mm potentiometer.
I really like these; about the only thing not great about them is that the number of throws isn't variable.

Cool beans, Ill PM you my info.

A little late to this one, but does anyone have one to sell? I am going to give it a try on the Twin Peaks Tremolo.
Thanks
I broke down and brought a gross of them. Anyone needs an oddone for a build let me know.

Hey Arthur, I could purchase 3 off you if you want? I'm curious to see these as well. Thanks in advance. Steve.
I ordered some so if you need a few to mess around with ill send them your way.
That would be greatly appreciated. Let me PM you my info. Thank you. Steve
Are these smaller? I'm certainly pro-solder lugs.

They look about the same profile. Those look very cool!
Anybody want to sell me one for my wah project? Or we could trade a few for a PCB when it's verified.
