I know this has been asked before but I want to make sure I get it right. MN3207 version of Current Lover, D4 is soldered to a pad between D5 and C6. Is that INSTEAD of its normal hole? Or does it get connected in its normal hole and then jumpered to the D5/C6 junction?

Ok. Maybe this will make it clearer. Should it D4 get installed normally and then a jumper added like this?:

Or should I ignore the normal pads and install it directly from D4 to D5/C6 like this?:
