Title: how would i make a linear pot a c pot?
Post by: danwelsh on December 12, 2013, 01:59:45 AM
Hi guys...so I'm ordering parts for the stage fright and the only thing out of stock I need is the 1mc pots.....how do you convert a linear pot to a reverse audio pot? And would I need high value resistors to keep the '1m' value? And if this cant be done can I just straight up use a Lin or log pot? If I use a regular log pot will It operate backwards?

You don't without changing the value and/or being a super ninja.

You can wire the log pot backwards, swapped outside leads, then it just functions counter-intuitively, that may or may not be an issue.
