Title: Switch 2 SETS of caps?
Post by: pryde on November 30, 2013, 04:24:26 AM

Ok I want to do the vibe mod on my galacticon pcb (stomptowns phase 45). I know there are a couple ideas on how to do this but according to the Maillet schematic:
http://www.lynx.bc.ca/~jc/phase45modded.gif

So this means on a phase 45 the C2/C3 47n caps need to switched to 10n/100n respectively.
Can the 2 sets of caps be done on a DPDT toggle or does it need to be a 4PDT? Cant seem to wrap my head around doing this with a DPDT switch? If so can someone diagram it?

Thanks for the help.

You can, but it may mean some flying leads from the caps.

should be able to do this with a DPDT. Disconnect one end of the cap and it will be out of circuit.

A 4pdt (on/on) toggle is the way to go it you want to keep it clean...
