Title: SUNKING CRYING AT ME
Post by: ggarms on November 26, 2013, 05:37:20 AM
Hey Guys, finished my etched version of the sunking tonight. Everything is working properly, save for one issue. When the gain or tone pot are all the way up, i'm getting a very loud squeal that overtakes the signal. I've ready around and it seems IC1 may be the issue. I'm using a 1044 from small bear. I subbed the 4001 diodes for 4oo4's, otherwise it is built to spec. Any other suggestions for a starting point? Thanks!

Looks like you already know the culprit. If the 1044 you got from Smallbear is the MAX1044CPA as advertised on the site, well: http://www.madbeanpedals.com/forum/index.php?topic=937.msg5873#msg5873
