In the Zero Point SDX, IC5 is marked as a TL062 in the build docs...will a TL072 work here instead?

Should do, it's amazing what you can get away with for substitutions.

IIRC, the pinout is identical, so it's worth a shot :)

Yes, it will work fine. TL062 is the low current consumption version of the TL072, but either will do the job.
