Title: Black Ness, booster in A-box
Post by: Vallhagen on October 17, 2013, 08:26:08 PM
I'm cought by that A-bug? dunnow. But this is second out from me in that smallsize böx.

This is my circuit design and pcb layout on OSH-parked board. On prototype pcb (and in a cooler enclosure?) I presented it in the july contest; http://www.madbeanpedals.com/forum/index.php?topic=10779.msg96588#msg96588 (http://www.madbeanpedals.com/forum/index.php?topic=10779.msg96588#msg96588), if you click the link there is a soundclip too.

I call it Black Ness

Some sort of failure this time with the decal and clearcoat (you can see tiny bubbles), but... i dont think i will re-do it. To much other fun ahead:)

Well, fairly poor picture quality too.. but again, the decal isnt perfect this time anyway.....................

Cheeers!

Sorry the only time I see tiny bubbles is when I am watching either Don Ho or Lawrence Welk! ;D
I don't see any bubbles, and I think it looks great all around, especially the graphics. I'm at work, so I can't listen to the sound clip, but will when I get home.
Be proud of that build, man! I envy someone that can design a working pcb and I hope to be able to do so someday too.
Nice build.

I'm pretty sure by now that Brian's boards should count as gateway drugs.

I only started this wanting a LaVache pedal! Then I decided to build a Dr Boogie board from him, no point in paying for shipping for just one PCB... now I'm spending $600NZD on oscilloscopes and the courier knows me by name.
