Nothings like the first time, right. This is my first build in one of those small boxes.
A year ago I boxed my first home-layouted and etched pcb, and it was the same circuit as this; Jack Orman / mb Thunderpuss MOSFET boost. It can be found somewhere here on the build reports board. This one is "upgraded" and minified to a fabbed OSH-park pcb with boardmounted pot.
I call him LAUDAH
Its a great circuit, as well as very simple. Enough simple (read: small pcb) to made me dare to go A-size ::) ...
Cheerio!

This is so cool, inside and out.
Very cool. I love the look of those jacks also. Did you get them your side of the pond?
This is awesome! That tiny PCB makes that 1590a look huge! I like the color as well ( with matching wire to boot!).
I love how the border gets broken up by the switch, LED, and knob notches!

Yeah, that's a very nice effect.
Great first 1590a build. They are a lot of fun.
Nice! In a short while you'll look at that gut shot and think.."Hmm, I could fit two in there..."
Welcome to the 1590A world...you'll never be the same. ;)
It's true these tiny pedals are so addictive, you'll think
'If I try and cram everything into the smallest box, then my board can have even more pedals!'
Great first A build, very neat :)
I dig the look of the box, great job. I really should get a regulated power supply so I can use these small boxes.....
