Hi all. Here is the Double Flush I just completed. It is stock from a Madbean board I etched. The graphics are the back of a playing card scanned in, blown up and blurred, the logo is done in Illustrator and then it was all taken into Photoshop to finish it up.
Hope you enjoy it.

Man that picture is so crisp it looks like it's photoshopped. You have been cranking some very impressive work lately. Bravo!

Yeah, that totally looks like a rendering.
Whoa, THAT is really nice looking
Wow!
Thanks guys. I really liked the way this one turned out and it just pops on the pedal board.
If anybody wants the artwork I'd love to give something back. I can put up a pdf file on Dropbox. Let me know.
Edit: N/M
Oh yeah, trash, you're right... :P Kidding...your work is great. How does it sound? And where are the guts in that Behringer pedal?

Hey Dave. Did you notice the washer? Now I'm hooked on those.
You were like the drug dealer, the first two were free and now I have to have them. :)

Yeah, I like them MUCH better than the white washers. I do have some black plastic washers that I occasionally use, however.
I'd be a pretty lousy dealer. I effectively gave you the first two then let somebody else make money. :-)

Yeah, you might want to work on that second part a bit more.
Just plain hot. Top notch, bud!
Yeah, that thing looks totally surreal.

Agreed! It looks like a beautiful glittering jewel... Pickdropper, you better look out, Bill's not far behind your tailfeathers!
The way that the playing card is slightly blurred makes this look 3D or holographic. Really cool idea!
Wow! It really looks like the logo is floating above the background. Very cool!

Bill has been in a groove for a while now. He's been putting out some amazing looking builds.

Thank you Alan. That's a great compliment because Dave is one of those guys I really look up to as a builder.
It's funny, I read this post right after my son had come into my office and was gushing over the Double Flush. Out of all my builds this one is his favorite. I told him "I think I'm getting there but let me show you a guy who REALLY knows how to build pedals." I took him to Pickdroppers latest, the Telefunken.
The great thing about this board is the quality of builds. I feel constantly pushed in a good way by everybody here. I'm a Pastor now but worked as a graphic artist for years. I'm enjoying feeling creative again.
Thanks all for the kind words and thanks for all the help you've been and for the constant (good) pressure to get better and better at this. :)
Just really Ace work!!!!!!!!
Mike
Those letters look like they are jewel letters glued on!! Awesome looking graphics!!
The washer debate, I like how they look. I also like the white. But my favourite, I bought a pack of clear acrylic washers, on ebay from china, and they look sweet! I'll try and dig out a pic.

What is your source for the metal washers?
