Title: Rangemaster Build
Post by: wilcorocks on February 03, 2011, 06:07:53 AM
I had some time tonight after dinner, so I thought I would put the Rangemaster board I had.  Results are pretty good.  I think I will order some extra transistors as I dig the sound, but would be interested in what others could bring.  As of now it is a Hitachi 2s... I had laying around from a previous order.  Anyways, if you don't have one already, get one as soon as you can.  This is one of my personal favorites!  With a Grestch Country Classic and a Tweed Deluxe clone= so good.

Hey wilcorocks,
How's it going?  So is this enclosure "translucent black vein"?  Definitely looks different than the "black hammertone", but it's hard to tell viewing them on computer monitors.

I've built a couple of Rangemasters, but I have plans to do a new one.  I like them with my AC30.

Once again, great work.

Steve,

I believe this is the "silver vein"?  It was a pain to find a color that would actually show up on it.  The black hammerite is the way to go.

Thanks again.
