Title: EHX Holy Grail Reverb- Whine

Anyone know of a mod to stop the crazy whine I get with my EHX Holy Grail Reverb?
It works fine in the effects loop of my tweaker15, but my vht special 6 head does not have a loop and it whines like crazy when in front of either amp.
Any ideas?

Is it the big or small box? I have tested both, and the big box was a little more noisy, but no whine.
What are you powering it with?

Big box and powering it with the original power supply.

Check your power supply with a DMM. I had this issue and it ended up being the PS. I have the large box version also.

Mine was not putting out enough voltage and it was starving the pedal.

My ehx power supply is rated 9v 500ma
I am getting 12.5 volts and 4.4 amps. Not sure but I think that equates to 4400ma?
So it could be putting out to much amps?

Yeah that pedal is very power supply specific, various noise occurs if you somehow end up giving it something different than what it wants, at least in my experience.
