Title: Better alternative to Mammoth?
Post by: Pedro Fontacos on June 07, 2013, 07:16:38 PM
Hi all,  is there a better one-stop-shop for pedal building?  I feel that their paint quality is sketchy at best and feel nickel and dimed on some of the components.  The website is very nice however and quick to order from.  Any better ideas or is this as good as one can get?

Tayda Electronics but you'd have to paint the unfinished enclosures...

For powder coating quality, Pedal Parts Plus is the best I've used.  Small Bear doesn't have as many options, but the quality of the finish is better than Mammoth.

Smallbear would be my first choice to get everything in one place. As Dave mentions, they don't have a lot of options when you consider your enclosure choices, however the finish on those Hammond boxes they have are as durable as you'll find. They come from Hammond that way, and they sooooo tough compared to the Mammoth finish.
