Echo Base w/ Tap Tempo

I built this over several weeks, usually when I had a spare hour or so to devote. I used the PTAP tap tempo and it works really well. The switch is for the tails mod, but I don't see any reason to turn it off! Anyway, great project...fired up the first time.

Yes, it's musicpcb.com. Taylor's work on that board in particular is superb. There are few projects I've even enjoyed half as much as this one.

I'll preempt the questions also - the ptap tap tempo addition is no longer available. Unfortunately there isn't a good, simple alternative available right now. So for those of you wanting to ask how the tap tempo can be added, it's not available any more. The closest thing is the taptation circuit found at diystompboxes. Although, last I heard the store there was sold out. Aron is likely getting more in, watch for it.

could the MV-52 chip smallbear sells be worked in somehow?

Yes, the molten voltage chip is usable, but you'll likely have to work out the application part of it. Thanks for the reminder about that one, I'll have to look at the data sheet again. If I remember right, the MV chip is expensive.
