Pork Barrel Subs?

Any reason not to use tl072 where it calls for a tl062?  I know the 062 is low power consumption so I was wondering if that is crucial for some reason.

Also, I only have 2 2n5088's left over from a previous build.  I have a bunch of bc549b's I could use in there- but they much lower hFe.  Would those work?

The rule with dual op amps can pretty much always be swapped without issue functionally. Will it sound the same? Not always, but sometimes. In this case, you should be fine.

I don't know about the transistors, check the data sheets.

I figured the TL072 would be fine in the chorus, but I don't know if there's some reason why the "low power consumption" chip would be called for there instead.

I've already looked at the data sheets for both kinds of transistors but all that told me was that the pin outs are different.  I still don't know if they would make a good substitution in this particular circuit.

I guess I'll just order some more 5088s in a few days unless someone has further information on that front.
