My first tremolo build; mb Double Flush pcb. It would fit in a B-size box, but ... i didnt have one at house and i wanted to box it. AND i like to have space, so im not complaining:)

Actually, the knobs were the last type i had four of in my drawers... running out of stuff here:) ... but to me it turned out pretty good too:)

Looks great. I love the font you got on there. Etch looks fantastic also.

Yea i kept it simple/minimalistic. I just "had" to make a successful etch this time to not lose all self-confidence about etching ... It's funny, my very first attempt to make an etched enclosure (about a year ago, the Chunk Chunk which i named MetHell) went out well after a few tries. Since then i've tried and failed several times... so i went back to a design very similar to the early successful etch, even the same fontsize:) ... and im happy it turned out fairly good this time.

The main problem i have with etching is that i hardly get any depth at all. When the etching is done i can hardly feel the reliefs. Then when i have painted it, its verrrrrrry sensitive when i sand away the residual paint. I am etching with caustic soda, maybe should try some other etchant.

The main font (i use it all the time, here in the "Trembahl" word) is actually my own:)

I know it's a lot more work, but: Handpaint the reliefs. You can use a jeweler's screwdriver to take off anything that gets outside the lines. I also think acrylic paints are much tougher than spray paint. Plus you can easily get more than one color that way, and you don't have to rely on getting the letters and graphics coming out right like doing them freehand (which is what I have to do since I can't etch).

I have actually tried handpainting for the reliefs.. Not with acrylic but with POSCA pens. No success with that, but yea, i think it would work all fine, maybe even better than spray, if i give it time...

Lets see what i come up with next time/try:)
